I have been in make contact with using the computer because 2000. Even though it is not a fever, it's nevertheless a little of study. Commonly, my good friends and family will come across me to help set up the personal computer. Seeking back now, I spent a lot of money on it. Fundamentally, I want to upgrade my personal computer practically every year and also a half. The solid state hard disk was contacted in 2011. You can find no significantly less than 10 solid state models that have been bought and made use of so far. I'm here to share my encounter with you.
I will prevent some experienced vocabulary here and use common and understandable language to talk about with you
Element 1: What exactly is a solid state drive? What exactly is a strong state drive?
Generally we usually use mechanical hard disk, which can be composed of disk surface and magnetic head along with other elements. It truly is a physical mechanical device. The solid state hard disk, like the U disk we ordinarily use, is composed of a flash memory chip plus a main manage in addition to a cache. The distinction from a USB flash drive is the fact that USB flash drives normally only use one or two flash memory chips, plus the reading and writing are usually concentrated on it, so the USB flash drive life just isn't incredibly long, in particular whenever you buy low-quality items; and there are plenty of flash drives on SSD The chip, evenly distributes the data to each flash memory, the life expectancy are going to be significantly longer than the U disk.
Solid-state drives are normally 2.5-inch, that is the size of a notebook difficult drive, which is 7mm thick and 9MM thick (notebook friends who install solid state need to pay attention); Additionally, there are MSATA and PCI-E interfaces.
Second, solid state really hard drives are much more costly than mechanical difficult drives, what would be the rewards, why should you obtain
Just mentioned that a mechanical tough disk is often a mechanical device, which is composed of one particular or quite a few disks. Just just like the old record, the disk is rotating at high speed at any time. You've to read the data at a particular position, as well as the magnetic head ought to move to Location. The solid-state hard disk has no mechanical parts and is all electronic. When the CPU problems instructions, it desires to fetch information at an address, and also the major handle can straight reach an address. This is extra obvious, the greatest advantage of strong state drives is the fact that they usually do not want to seek. With regards to continuous read and write functionality, the present mainstream solid-state difficult drives have reached greater than 500M, which is also unmatched by mechanical hard drives. Also, the solid state has pretty much no noise, and its power consumption is significantly reduce than that of mechanical challenging drives.
The main distinction following changing the SSD is:
Switching time is more rapidly.
Irrespective of how much application and games you might have installed, you are able to use it following getting into the desktop. The mechanical challenging drive will take a even though to make use of.
The installation and operation of the application is faster, particularly for friends that are engaged in improvement. Lots of softwares come out right away just after double-clicking, along with the mechanical challenging drive has to wait a extended time. I'm not utilized for the mechanical hard drive when I visit repair the laptop or computer.
The game can also be smoother. Getting into the game and loading the progress bar are substantially more rapidly.
System scoring, software operating score is much more (zhuang) greater (bi).
3. I do not understand strong state. Why does Baidu search for a variety of shortcomings of solid state?
A lot of of those articles are in fact early. At that time, the solid-state technology was not ideal. It is inevitable that quite a few 'old school' worry that the solid-state challenging disk will have a short life span like a USB flash drive and information is easy to shed. Not as excellent as the evaluation benefits of high-end mechanical hard drives.
With regards to lifespan, I don't think there is any have to have to worry about it now. Judging from what I've utilized, the solid state hard drive can completely attain the life in the mechanical difficult drive beneath standard use and upkeep. You can find also many institutions that have tested and analyzed the life of SSDs, along with the results are constant with what I consider.
Information is easy to drop. This is primarily due to the fact quite a few solid-states have large-capacity DDR caches. This cache is like memory, as well as the information in it can disappear after power is turned off. The cached strong state will likely be written for the high-speed DDR cache very first when data is written, after which written in to the flash memory. If there's a energy failure before writing to the flash memory, this component in the data will indeed be lost, but the probability can also be pretty low , I haven't encountered it once.
Let me show you the situation from the solid state I bought prior to:
As shown above, INTEL strong state was bought in early 2011, and Magnesium strong state was purchased in early 2012. Now it has been functioning for practically 10,000 hours.
Utilizing the INTEL solid-state toolbox to test, the life continues to be 99%, and there is absolutely no obvious adjust in efficiency.
The Samsung 830 above is utilized on my WindowsNAS and server. The operating time is close to 20,000 hours. file recovery software will find nonetheless no issues plus the functionality is quite steady.
The second element: the best way to check out the parameters from the solid-state drive 1. Brand: For new good friends, I believe the brand is the most worthy of consideration. Good brands have stronger R \u0026 D capabilities, master handle and flash memory chip technologies are extra mature, and after-sales capabilities are stronger. For instance, INTEL, 5 years of international warranty and powerful overall performance, this can be incomparable to a lot of compact brands. At present, brands with independent research and improvement capabilities are: INTEL, Magnesium, Samsung and so on.
Second, the principle manage: the key control is equivalent to the CPU in a laptop or computer, the primary handle to tell the truth for our ordinary customers, there is certainly not considerably to know. At present, it is actually to examine the information and facts published by the manufacturer, compare the actual performance, listen towards the feedback of other close friends, and so on. Now one of the most prevalent sort of solid-state news and evaluation on lots of internet sites is definitely the war of words of your master manage. It is possible to just watch it. At present, the extra typical master brands are:
Sandforce series, INTEL along with other mid-to-high-end merchandise are frequently used, somewhat stable, and robust functionality.
Samsung MDX, MEX series: Samsung's independent analysis and improvement on the major manage, presently Samsung strong state is in use, has the capability to play TLC flash memory to SLC functionality, it seems that Samsung's major manage continues to be very trustworthy.
JMF master control: typically noticed in the low-end solid state, JMF is also a single of your old master control suppliers, cost-effective. Judging from the present information, the solid state functionality of GALAX and other brands using JMF master manage is in the middle position, which is not as well bad. This master handle is at the moment particularly unobtrusive inside the eyes of many netizens.
Marvell master: relatively steady, numerous netizens even get in touch with it 'server-level', and several high-end solid-state items also use this master manage.
Third, flash memory: We commonly know that by deciding on a USB flash drive. With regards to performance and life, the second is TLC, then the MLC, and the most effective is SLC. At present, there are various solid-state tough drives working with MLC flash chips. The flash memory form product is usually indicated (most of them are usually not TLC), it truly is very best to opt for the solid state using MLC and SLC chips, don't make use of the solid state of TLC.
At present, you can find the following mainstream flash memory particles: INTEL, Magnesium, Toshiba, Samsung, and so forth. The top quality of flash memory straight impacts the life and overall performance with the whole solid state drive. Flash particles on the very same brand also have advantages and disadvantages, so we are able to only look at the good quality of flash particles in the actual performance of solid state drives.
Four, interface form:
IDE: The hard disk interface widespread to old computer systems in the past is appropriate for close friends who don't upgrade the entire machine and only encounter solid state. Nevertheless, due to the IDE interface, the functionality of the IED SSD is very poor, plus the improvement just after replacement will not be as well apparent. Note that the IDE interface of old notebooks and desktops is distinctive, please confirm before shopping for.
SATA: The most normally made use of interface at present. The current mainstream solid state drives are all SATA3.0, along with the study and write speed can reach 550MB / S. Not surprisingly, SATA is backward compatible. In case your motherboard has a SATA2.0 interface, you may nevertheless invest in a SATA3.0 strong state drive, but the speed can only attain the speed of SATA2.0.
MSATA: Now quite a few new notebook and desktop motherboards have reserved MSATA ports, that are convenient for customers to set up solid state drives, network cards along with other devices.
PCI-E: Limited by the current SATA3.0 speed, the present SATA solid-state hard disk can only reach a maximum speed of about 550MB / s, but for other applications with larger requirements, this speed will not be adequate, so there's The solid-state challenging drive with PCI-E interface is just that the price tag of such solid-state really hard drive is somewhat high, which can be at present difficult for ordinary customers to accept.
Five: Size: At present, the much more prevalent solid-state drives are all 2.5-inch. Note that you'll find 7MM and 9MM. In case your notebook is 7MM, then you definitely ca n’t acquire 9MM. You ought to pay consideration before purchasing.
Six: Reading and writing speed: The quickest continuous reading and writing speed which will be accomplished in theory.
Seven: Cache: There is usually a cache chip on the mechanical hard disk along with the solid-state challenging disk, the function should be to provide high-speed buffer when reading and writing. In theory, the larger the cache capacity, the stronger the performance? This is true for mechanical tough drives, but for solid state drives, I feel it can be ignored. The performance of solid-state drives mainly is dependent upon the primary control and flash memory particles. In the event the read and create speeds themselves are very slow, what's the usage of providing you a bigger cache? At present, there are lots of solid-states that happen to be not cached. The information is straight study and written without the need of the cache, and the performance is also fantastic. When getting, let's concentrate around the overall performance.
Seven: Random read and create rate IOPS: The amount of study and write operations per second. This is one of the most significant parameter to measure the performance of strong state drives. The larger the worth, the greater.
Component III: The way to buy a solid-state really hard drive 1. When buying, you should have a certain understanding from the brand, after-sales, main handle in the solid-state difficult drive, and flash memory chip. .
Second, opt for the proper size and interface form, see the second component from the parameter introduction. It's finest to opt for a metal shell. Some companies use plastic shells to save fees. While the impact isn't huge, the metal shell can successfully avert electromagnetic interference.
3. Spend attention to the balance between price tag and efficiency. In the event the spending budget is adequate, it can be advisable to decide on high-performance merchandise; when the budget is insufficient, it's advised to pick high-cost goods. How to pick the performance please appear down:
Fourth, pick out the acceptable capacity, I will offer you a suggestion determined by encounter:
60-64G: Don't play games, only employed to install the technique and a few frequent software (not adequate? Introduced beneath).
120-128G: Made use of to set up the technique and a few frequently made use of software program, and occasionally play games (when there is certainly not sufficient space in between the mechanical really hard drives).
240-256G: Set up the technique and application, and typically play various various games (the truth is, 256G continues to be not adequate for current games)
512G: Invest in it should you need it.
As well as picking capacity, we must pay attention to speed. At present, the tough disk with all the exact same model and the identical brand and the bigger capacity is faster.
5. Functionality very first. If it is not for efficiency, there isn't any have to have to pay extra for SSDs. Right here is usually a short introduction to the overall performance of SSD:
Continuous read and create speed: SATA3.0 is quite superior at around 500M. It doesn't matter if it truly is reduce, just after all, the really hard disk capacity is so massive. As an example: the distinction in between 500M and 400MB / s. To copy diskgetor data recovery software , in theory, a 500M / s challenging drive takes 10 seconds, along with a 450M / s hard drive requires 11.1 seconds. This difference in seconds does not make considerably sense to most of the people.
4K efficiency, this can be essentially the most vital, this can be the worth of your existence of strong state drives, and 4K functionality in 4K functionality is much more important. Under the SATA3.0 native interface, the present 4K study speed of medium and high-end solid state drives is above 30MB / S, the 4K write speed is above 100MB / S, plus the random study and write rate is above 80,000 IOPS. The 4K reading speed of the low-end solid-state tough disk really should also be around 20MB, and also the 4K writing speed should reach more than 50MB / S. If it's also low, don't take into consideration it. The 4K study / create speed of mechanical hard drives cannot even attain 1MB / S, which is the biggest benefit of strong state drives. As shown within the figure above, we can make use of the test results of AsSSDBenchmark to critique the general functionality of a solid state drive.
Some merchants of this rating sheet will post inside the product introduction as publicity (note that there is certainly some moisture), if not, it truly is essential to refer to the evaluation final results in the user's sun list.
V. Summary: At present, the market for SSDs is quite deep, so we should pay consideration to selection. Try to opt for a frequent brand, and stay away from getting low-quality solid-state really hard disks including white tablets at low costs; pay interest to the form of flash memory employed for this solid state when purchasing, first refer to the buyer's list, and have a specific understanding of the general performance; then evaluate other Brand functionality and price.
Right here I propose a solid-state really hard drive that I like quite substantially and cost-effective:
PLEXTOR M6S
Element 4: Use and upkeep of strong state drives 1. When installing strong state drives, make sure to plug the information cable in to the native SATA interface to maximize functionality
A friend of mine, utilised a solid state to get a year. I asked him how, but he stated absolutely nothing. Later, I took it apart: ASRock Z77 motherboard, he plugged within the third-party SATA3.0 port.
Typically, the very first SATA3.0 port on the motherboard is definitely the native sata interface (please refer for the manual for specific cases). Some motherboards also have sata2.0 interfaces in addition to sata3.0, which must be correctly connected throughout installation. Performance will be considerably worse.
Second, use high-quality SATA information cable
The SATA data cable is typically integrated with the motherboard. Some smaller manufacturers offer very poor excellent data. It truly is advisable to purchase a high-quality sata3.0 data cable. The high-quality information cable connector is more steady and sturdy. The cable also has an aluminum shield. A few years ago I had a tough disk because the data cable connector was too bad and was burnt out.
3. The initial step right after installing the difficult disk: check no matter whether to allow AHCI mode.
Now most motherboards default to AHCI mode, but some buddies still use IDE mode, Khan one particular. You should use AHCI mode to attain the maximum performance from the SATA interface. The process of opening is commonly to enter the BIOS, find the IntegratedPeripherals choice, and set SATARAID / AHCIMode to AHCI. Different motherboards may well display distinct settings, please refer towards the instruction manual. Note that following the IDE mode is changed to AHCI mode, the original system might not be able to enter, it really is recommended to reinstall the technique.
Fourth, the second step following installing the difficult disk: confirm regardless of whether to partition and do partition alignment
Partition misalignment is also one particular of your culprits that have an effect on the efficiency of SSDs. Should you strategy to partition the challenging drive, you need to spend interest to partition alignment. Good friends who usually do not partition need to bypass this step. There are the following techniques for partition alignment:
1. Use the current win7 and win8 systems for partitioning, any division is ok, and also the division is inside the state of partition alignment soon after division. Press Win + R, enter compmgmt.msc to confirm, after which click Disk Management.
two. Make a PE boot disk like old Maotao and partition it with diskgenius. After getting into diskgenius, pick the solid-state challenging disk you need to partition, click New Partition, then as shown within the figure, check 'Align towards the entire number on the following sectors
'Multiple times', and after that pick 2048 under. Note that each zone has to be checked!
3. Ways to detect whether the partition is aligned? The OK shown in the red box within the following figure indicates that AHCI is turned on and also the partitions are aligned:
5. Is it far better to partition or not? How much is it?
It truly is recommended to not partition the SSD below 1.64G. Certainly, it can be partitioned. Keep in mind to align the partition. I've a NAS that's 64G strong state, divided into 2 places, one area with 40G installed method, and 1 area with 20G installed software program. In reality, I personally assume that the program partition should not be as well massive. By way of example, I only divided 20G inside the XP era and 40G in the win7win8 era, and then allocated virtual memory and temporary files and cache to one more location of the SSD. The advantage of this can be that the C drive is tiny, quick to handle and backup. Certainly, buddies who ordinarily create the following installation habit are nevertheless much better, otherwise 40G will burst. As shown in the figure, actually, the win8 program is divided into 42G, which is only about 20G, mostly for the reason that I've installed VisulStudio2013 and OFFICE2013 now.
two.128G solid state and above is encouraged to be divided into an independent program area, which can be convenient for backup and management. You want to squeeze games, software and windows around the C drive, it isn't handy to backup and reinstall something. If divided into two areas, reinstallation and restoration following program crash won't affect other information. As for the partition size, I think that individuals like me who keep great habits, cache, temporary files, virtual memory usually are not within the program disk, application and games usually are not installed inside the technique disk, C disk is about 40G; and prefer to put the computer software together Close friends installed inside the C drive, it really is advised to divide greater than 60G. The 128G solid state is full with just two games, we ca n’t assist it. For instance, when playing Huge Pineapple, move the Elder Scrolls to the mechanical challenging drive. Soon after playing the Elder Scrolls, move the Significant Pineapple for the mechanical tough drives and move the Elder Scrolls back towards the SSD.
Cramming software, games, cache, etc. under 1 disk can also be quite messy. You may make separate folders for games, application, and cache, after which categorize them separately.
In addition, high-definition motion pictures usually do not need to have to become specially saved around the solid state difficult disk to watch, it is sufficient around the mechanical hard disk.
6. What technique should really be installed?
For solid-state drives, systems with win7 and win8 and server2008R2 or higher are enough. XP primarily doesn't support TRIM. Win7 and Win8 are optimized for strong state drives. Although some people in XP have made a mandatory TRIM tool, many people have tested that there is no trustworthy technique that supports TRIM natively.
The installation method could be the very same as the ordinary mechanical hard disk, which may be installed by CD or GHOST, so I won't repeat them right here.
7. The very first factor immediately after installing the system: operating points to see when the merchants pit me
Just after installing the technique, install the drivers for the motherboard, graphics card and other devices, then run AsSSDBenchmark to determine if it really is quite unique from the publicity data? Significant deviations indicate some complications. For instance, what I stated before: Is AHCI enabled? Will be the partition aligned? Is it plugged in to the motherboard's native SATA3.0 interface? At this time you can check item by item.
eight. Optimization of SSD
1. Verify if there is any particular optimization tool for the solid state drive you bought, and install it if there's 1. Commonly it can be convenient to verify the status on the difficult disk, and there is also a fairly very simple optimization wizard. For example, INTEL has SSDTOOLBOX, execute INTELSSDOptimizer to produce the SSD perform within the ideal condition.
two. If there's no particular optimization tool, let's optimize it manually: (Note: A lot of magazines and tutorials will mention numerous SSD optimization methods, but numerous are totally misleading, and in some cases worse immediately after the optimization, so I (Here we also come across out the anti-optimization)
Check if TRIM is turned on (very important): This function is really turned on by default, but some systems, you understand ... Beneath Win7, click Start-Programs-Accessories, correct click on 'Command Prompt', ' 'Run as administrator'; beneath win8, press win + X, then select 'Command Prompt (Administrator)', enter fsutilbehaviorQUERYDisableDeleteNotify in the command prompt, press Enter, when the returned worth is DisableDeleteNotify = 0, it means TRIM is turned on; if the return worth = 1, it indicates that TRIM isn't activated, if it's not activated, enter fsutilbehaviorsetdisabledeletenotify0 Enter to activate.
Turn off Prefetch and Superfetch and indexes ?: A lot of tutorials recommend what to complete. They believe that the solid state drive is quick adequate. Turning on prefetch will impact performance and life. It can be essentially misleading. Following the whole is closed, it can have a fantastic impact on the efficiency from the mechanical challenging disk, and can also possess a particular effect on the strong state difficult disk. In fact, we only have to have to turn off the index in the SSD partition, because the SSD hardly has time for you to seek. As shown inside the figure, right-click the SSD partition, choose 'Properties', cancel the bottom 'except the file properties ...'
Turn off defragmentation? : The principles of strong state drives and mechanical hard drives are diverse. Following defragmentation, solid state drives can influence efficiency. There are many magazines and tutorials that guide customers to manually turn off these attributes. In fact, this really is also misleading. Beneath win8, very first pick a solid-state tough drive partition, right-click, pick 'Properties', and after that click 'Tools' --- 'Optimization', the automatic optimization solution of all partitions is turned on by default? Is win7win8 not optimized for strong state drives? Is there such a low-level error?
The truth is, the optimization here is necessary. This optimization is just not 'disk defragmentation', but a series of commands executed together with the TRIM instruction. You do n’t must worry about defragmenting the disk automatically.
Then below win7, initial select an SSD partition, right-click, pick 'Properties', and after that click 'Tools' --- 'Defragment Now', you'll find how quite a few fragments the SSD can analyze The scheduled job is enabled by default ... Nonetheless, when you appear down and select the disk that wants to become organized within the scheduled activity, you will discover that the SSD won't appear within the list ...
Therefore, regardless of regardless of whether it really is win7 or win8, the disk defragmentation will not have to have to be regarded as at all, and the default will be the exact same. Soon after forcibly closing, it is going to turn into 'anti-optimization' as an alternative.
Usually do not set temporary files, virtual memory, IE cache, and so on. towards the SSD? Lots of people recommend this, since the temporary files and IE cache should read and create really hard drives often, that will seriously have an effect on the life of your solid state drive. This really is essentially the most silly optimization suggestion I've ever seen. What does a solid state drive do? The benefit is that these fragmented files are processed regularly and rapidly. For that reason, I recommend setting the short-term cache of all application, method temporary files, and IE browser cache on the SSD. Needless to say, in the event the memory is significant enough, making RAMDISK in a part, after which putting the IE cache in RAMDISK is the ideal of both worlds.
SSD upkeep
So as to extend the service life in the SSD and maximize the overall performance, the usual upkeep can also be essential.
Use win7win8 and newer systems, usually do not use XP systems that don't help TRIM.
As well as the life on the normal power-on time, the solid-state really hard disk also includes a lifespan that is determined by the quantity of writes. Right after reaching a particular amount of writes, the flash memory chip ought to be dead. So do n’t often use test software program to measure the speed of operating points (a pal of mine runs quite a few times every day to become enjoyable), do n’t download BT and PT regularly (no problem with daily use, for instance the next two motion pictures every single day) Substantial BT, PT and also other P2P software program memory cache.
Never attempt to defragment the SSD.
Partitions need to have to reserve a particular quantity of totally free space, by way of example, 10% is reserved, too complete will affect read and create overall performance (some solid state drives do not have this issue).
Verify on a regular basis for new firmware downloads. New firmware often fixes previous difficulties and has far better performance. (It really is encouraged to connect the UPS power supply when updating the firmware, just in case)
Soon after utilizing it for any period of time (commonly about two years, based in your frequency of use), some SSDs will have quite a bit of efficiency degradation challenges. At this time, it can only be solved by erasing the entire disk once. Complete disk erase will delete all data and can't be recovered. If there's a program, you are able to GHOST the system disk for the mechanical hard disk, after which back up immediately after erasing.
You'll find usually full disk erasing tools within the tools supporting strong state drives. Note that data recovery software for windows 7 operating the technique can not be erased below windows. The resolution is:
①. Use U disk or mechanical hard disk to create a program temporarily. The solid state is set as a non-boot disk. Following backing up the information, you can make use of the 'Safe Erase' tool within the solid-state tough disk supporting tool to erase it all. If there's no supporting tool, you can make use of the SolidStateDoctor tool to erase. The way to use: First select a strong state drive, then click the drive tool icon, and then click the safe erase icon.
②. Be a DOS boot disk, also in the old Maotao boot disk, use the HDDErase tool to erase the whole disk. Note that this tool isn't incredibly superior for some new motherboards. I tested it on my computer. Even though it is actually set to IDE and compatibility mode, my really hard drive can not be recognized. I have to give it. Friends who're interested can attempt it by themselves. Make use of the initially strategy. In my other poster, my Magnesium m4 strong state drive has been utilized for more than 2 years, and the create input is only 164MB / s, which can attain 200M / s following a full disk erase.
Note that don't frequently erase the complete disk, and only execute it as soon as when the performance is severely degraded.
7. When there's a massive amount of information, please execute formatting, partitioning as well as other operations in the Windows method, do not carry out in other systems!
As an example, some time ago I just bought a new solid state. The old solid state is 128G, divided into two places. Soon after the new strong state is offered, I desire to merge the old solid state into a single zone (the old solid state is almost complete of data). When doing the program, I re-divided the old strong state into a zone with diskgenius below PE. Consequently, following installing the program, it was identified that the new strong state is standard, along with the performance of your old solid state 4K is only 10M / S, along with the create is less than 100M / s. It is useless after formatting, and it is useless to get rid of it and install it on an additional machine. Later, a complete disk erase was performed to restore the original speed!
Why, in fact, the principle is very uncomplicated: when the operating method wants to delete the contents of the difficult disk, it's not actually deleted, but the region is marked as empty, and the empty position might be overwritten when new data is written. But flash memory does not operate. Overwriting just isn't permitted and should be erased 1st. I am performing a format operation on a PE method that does not help TRIM. I've to perform an erase operation before writing data. So right here you recognize the importance of TRIM, if it truly is formatted below the windows program, then the program will send the TRIM command for the challenging disk, telling the hard disk which locations can be erased, and after that erase it when it can be idle. The erase operation is omitted during the second create.
8. Appropriately setup and use, extend the life of big capacity mechanical tough disk.
I think several good friends are like me. The program, software, and games are all installed inside the solid-state difficult drive; there have to be a large-capacity mechanical difficult drive for saving high-definition films, Blu-ray ISO. Every person knows the principle of mechanical hard drives, so long as they may be turned on, they are frequently spinning, and often we are all utilizing factors inside the strong state, and mechanical hard drives don't need to have to be back for any handful of days. Why not quit him?
1st make the following settings:
Set virtual memory, short-term files, IE cache, and short-term directories of all application for the solid-state really hard disk to stop them from reading the mechanical challenging disk.
Enter the control panel, click System and Security, and enter the 'Power Options'. Obviously, it might also be accessed from the screen saver settings. Adjust the plan settings after your current power program, as shown within the figure
Then click 'Change Sophisticated Power Settings', as shown in the figure, set the time for you to turn off the really hard disk to five minutes and even two minutes.
Right after setting, the mechanical challenging disk will promptly quit after no reading and writing operations, which achieves the goal of extending life. The strong state challenging disk together with the program isn't impacted. As for why not use the system default 20 minutes? Leave it to every person to believe for themselves.
Properly, free data recovery software will create it here today, I hope it will be beneficial to everyone, and if there's some thing incorrect, please criticize and right me. I'll add it later if there is something to add.
